This event is benefiting the Turning Point “fresh start fund” to help those in shelters around the Metro Detroit Area have a fresh start as they re enter the work force and start new lives. We are partnering with Salon Bliss & Spa to make this possible. So come enjoy heart warming laughs, great food, sweet treats and of course grab one of our infamous goodie bags (they are a legend by themselves).
We have great line up: Our girl Moe Lietz will be MC/Host and keeping our “heart breakers” in line Kevin Smith, Robert Johnson III and Mike Ball. They all share their unique outlooks on everything from dating to just life.

Our girl Moe is back as MC for this signature event. She’s full of Irish sarcastic wit about everyday life observations.and sometimes the bubbles you wish wouldn’t appear over your head make it out anywayjust warning.

Kevin was raised on spicy food and sarcasm. His twisted, quick witted view on everything in life will have you laughing again and again. Since doing comedy is cheaper than marriage counseling, Kevin has been wandering the open mic scene aimlessly for about 3 years. He’s received the “Randal Pierson Comedian Award” and can be seen as a frequent MC & feature at Cool Jerks Comedy Club in Waterford.

Robert is one our favorite comics cause he has a sweet charm about him while being surprisingly dark & witty. He’s been hanging around the comedy scene for about 2 years and has been all over the Metro Detroit area. Newly married his perspective on life is sure to change day by day and minute by minute.

Last in our line-up but not least: Mike Ball
Mike is one of Michigan’s top up-and-coming comics. Growing up in Saginaw, Mike learned to cope with the losses by pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. Mike has started his own show in mid-Michigan titled “The Future of Comedy Show” which brings in headliners on a monthly basis. Mike has traveled as far as Los Angeles to perform and was a regular at the Ha Ha Comedy Club. Mike opened up for Nick Guerra (Last Comic Standing, Stand Up Revolution), Matt McClowry, Floyd J. Phillips, Dwyane Gill, Mike Stanley, Dave Landau and performed with Damon Wayans in Los Angeles. This “half-bred ginger” captivates the crowed by covering a diverse range of topics including roommates and relationships, coupled with spot-on crowd work to delight his audience. Mike is certainly bound to be one of your favorite comedians.
